For this tour we will follow in the footsteps of Harry Readford AKA Captain Starlight. Departing Sydney, we will drive through the Hawkesbury region where this icon of the Australian spirit was born. Following his footsteps through outback NSW, we make our way to the Flinders Ranges, where we will travel the reverse of his historic cattle drive. We will visit the remains of the homesteads where he sold his cattle, Blanchwater Station and Hill Hill Station, then follow the Strzelecki Creek to Innamincka and the Thompson River stock route up to Longreach. This is a tour that will stir your spirit.

Northwest Victoria to Tibooburra. Passing through Sunset country, Kinchega, Lake Mungo, Mutawintji and Sturt National Parks. We will also visit Little desert national park, Big Desert National Park. Following the border track between Sth Aust and Victoria and NSW, this is a real outback adventure that gives us access to some spectacular areas. We will stop over at Scotia Earth Sanctuary and check out the Betongs and Bilbys. The Murray and Darling Rivers are also a feature of this tour. This is the outback at it's best.

Starting at Port Douglas, this tour takes in Laura, Maytown, Coen, Weipa, the northern most working cattle station in Australia, tip of Australia, The Old Telegraph Track with lots of river crossings. Starting at Broken Hill the gateway to the outback, we visit many of the highlights of the Flinders Ranges including, Willow Springs Skytrek tour, Bunyeroo valley, Brachina gorge, Blinman and Glass Gorge. We then make our way along the infamous Oodnadatta track, and turn north for a well earned soak in Dalhousie Springs before heading across the Simpson Desert. We take a break in Birdsville before exploring corner country as we travel to White Cliffs for our farewell dinner in the Underground Motel.
