4WD Adventures Pty Ltd, (Getabout) is owned and operated by John & Julie Eggenhuizen and based at Prospect in NSW. Getabout is a VETAB Registered Training Organisation and provides Nationally Accredited Competency Based 4WD Driver Training and First Aid Courses.

Getabout has been teaching competency based 4WD courses for 10 years and our staff are qualified workplace trainers bringing with them decades of 4WD and teaching experience. The 4WD course is an integral component of the National Outdoor Sport and Recreation Training Package, and we would like the opportunity to instruct your staff to the current National Standards.

The 4WD training course covers a range of subjects from Basic Four Wheel driving to OH&S, and we are able to modify the course to suit your needs. This nationally recognised course also meets national industry OH&S requirements.

Getabout 4WD adventures is;

• a VETAB Registered Training Organisation;
• licensed by National Parks & Wildlife Service, Australia wide;
• licensed to operate in all State Forests in NSW & ACT

Getabout staff are qualified teachers and the course is Nationally Recognised. Getabout 4WD Adventures is a VETAB Registered Training Organization. This means the certificate you achieve is recognized Australia wide.

John was the President of the Outdoor Tour Operators Association (OTOA), and a board member of Tread Lightly Australia. He is also a a founding member of the Stockton Bight Dune Operators Association.
